Specific deliverables, scope, timelines, and obligations shall be governed by separate proposals, agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), work orders, or engagement letters where applicable.

  1. AUTHORIZED USE ONLY

You agree not to:

  • Use our website or services for unlawful purposes;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, networks, or infrastructure;
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse proprietary tools or methodologies;

For cybersecurity assessments, investigations, penetration testing, forensic analysis, or incident response activities, the client represents and warrants that:

  • They possess lawful ownership or authorization over systems, applications, networks, devices, accounts, or data involved;
  • Necessary approvals, permissions, and consents have been obtained;
  • The engagement does not violate applicable laws, regulations, contracts, or third-party rights.

The client remains solely responsible for:

  • Data backups,
  • Business continuity,
  • Operational decisions,
  • Internal approvals,
  • Regulatory compliance obligations,
  • Security configurations not managed by ShellStrong.
  1. DIGITAL FORENSICS & INVESTIGATION LIMITATIONS

Digital forensic examinations, malware analysis, and cybersecurity investigations are conducted based on:

  • Available evidence,
  • System conditions,
  • Client-provided access,
  • Technical feasibility,
  • Existing logs and artefacts.

ShellStrong does not guarantee:

  • Recovery of deleted or encrypted data,
  • Identification of all threat actors,
  • Prevention of future attacks,
  • Availability of complete evidence,
  • Admissibility outcomes before courts or authorities.

Findings, conclusions, and opinions are based on the information and artefacts available during the engagement.

  1. CONFIDENTIALITY

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of:

  • Sensitive business information,
  • Security findings,
  • Reports,
  • Credentials,
  • Investigation materials,
  • Digital evidence,
  • Threat intelligence,
  • Technical documentation,
  • Client infrastructure details.

Confidential information shall not be disclosed except:

  • With written authorization,
  • To authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis,
  • Where legally required,
  • For regulatory or law-enforcement compliance.

Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the engagement.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShellStrong, its directors, employees, consultants, affiliates, and partners against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or legal expenses arising from:

  • Violation of laws,

  • Misrepresentation of authority,
  • Third-party disputes related to your systems or data.
